Programme Overview

This programme aims to train the Environmental Managers of the future. Accredited by the Energy Institute, the programme is suitable for students with engineering or pure science backgrounds and provides training in environmental management and sustainable development in an industrial context.

You will gain advanced knowledge and understanding in the following areas:

• current waste treatment and disposal methodology
• modern approaches to pollution detection, control and remediation
• minimise resource usage, utilities and waste
• reduction, reuse and recycle
• environmental legislation
• environmental management systems (EMS)
