Psychologically-Minded Environments in Intellectual Disability. The University of Nottingham

This course aims to recruit health and social care professionals working in services for people with intellectual disabilities.

The programme will equip its graduates with the knowledge and skills required to create a 'psychologically-minded' environment including ways to attune interaction to each individual and recognition of, and therapeutic responses to, anxious and avoidant attachment relationships and other sources of emotional countertransference.
