The course will develop you into a confident, reflective primary school teacher. You will gain a wide-ranging understanding of the expectations of a professional teacher in general and, in particular, it will prepare you for a teaching career in primary education. Whilst the PGCE is an academic qualification, the emphasis is very much on practical experience with more than 50 per cent of the time spent in school.
