The HE Academy-accredited option within the course leads to the award of Postgraduate Certificate. This engages with the course's aims at the level of the subject, developing practitioners who are able to take a role in the development of teaching within their subject, and who are informed by theory, research and engagement with research related to their practice. The full MA option develops practitioners with a broader view of the teaching and learning process through additional modules focusing on the wider context.
