Management in Healthcare. Liverpool Hope University

The PG Cert Management in Healthcare is a higher qualification for graduates working in, or aspiring to work in, management level careers in public sector or private sector healthcare.

The aims of the programme are to:

• develop student's management skills and improve their effectiveness in their context of work
• extend student's critical understanding of the nature of management and its functions
• develop student's critical understanding of organisations, management and the changing external context in which they operate
• enhance student's knowledge and critical understanding of a range of management concepts and theories, models and frameworks that are pertinent to management in healthcare
