Diploma UK Human Rights and Public Law. University of Essex
Public law and domestic human rights law are currently two of the most
dynamic areas of law. The Human Rights Act (1998), the growth in
judicial review and the expansion of regulatory systems constitutional
reforms present many new challenges and opportunities for lawyers and
courts. Our course will be particularly attractive if you are in the UK
but should also appeal if you are from the Commonwealth or other common
law jurisdictions, or from other member states of the EU. While our
primary focus is UK law, opportunities exist for you to pursue modules
in comparative law and international protection of human rights.
