This award is the result of collaboration between Smithers Rapra Ltd and the Department of Engineering and Technology at the University. This is a unique opportunity that allows design engineers, managers and technologists in industry to obtain a formal and relevant qualification in polymer engineering. The award has been designed to support people working in industry or a relevant service sector associated with plastic elastomer products. The course is based on a series of intensive short courses, delivered by Smithers Rapra Ltd, and the University of Wolverhampton. You choose a series of modules which are relevant to your working environment and attend on dates that are convenient to you, followed by supported study and assessment carried out over a period of time at your convenience. You will be taught at Smithers Rapra, Shawbury, near Shrewsbury, Shropshire using their excellent short course teaching facilities.
