Public health is 'the science and art of preventing disease, prolonging life and promoting health through the organised efforts of society'. The MSc Public Health course is structured around an interdisciplinary curriculum drawing on social, human, behavioural, environmental and natural science feeder disciplines. It is based within the Department of Health and Applied Social Sciences, and resourced by a skilled and experienced academic team that is supported by other faculties across the University.
