The course has a distinctive mode of delivery involving distance learning and work/research based learning complementing one day per Week attendance during the semester. For those who do not wish to undertake a full course of study, individual modules such as Quality Improvement may be taken. The course has been designed to provide postgraduate education and training in the concepts and methods within a specialist engineering area and their intelligent application to problems within industry and academic Research. It will enable candidates to develop a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the scientific principles, theories and practice in the chosen area engineering specialisation.
