The programme has been designed to provide postgraduate education and training in the concepts and methods within manufacturing management, and their intelligent application to problems within modern industry.

The course will focus on those manufacturing philosophies that reflect leading industrial practice and the application of the latest computer aided engineering systems in the achievement of enhanced and sustainable manufacturing performance.

Part-time students who are in full-time employment will be able to gain credit for work-based activity in the work-based learning modules that are a feature of the programme.
