This programme, which carries the NMC V300 professional award, provides education and training for registered and experienced nurses in the theory and practice of nurse prescribing.

This programme will appeal to nurses, most likely to be working in specialist fields of practice, for whom prescribing will be a useful tool in delivering more speedy, effective care for patients. It is a programme that meets the directives and competences of the NMC licence to prescribe, and is subject to the regulations of the NMC.
