The programme is a teacher training course, recognised by the Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) for those teaching in the post compulsory sector of education and training. Modules cover all aspects of the teaching environment, such as classroom management, explanation and demonstration, planning and the opening and closing of a class.

This course develops individual teaching and learning strategies to enhance in-class practices.
