The PgCert in Respiratory Health aims to promote quality evidence based care in respiratory health for the benefit of patients and society. It enables the practitioner to develop an in depth understanding of clinical practice, underpinned by knowledge of the appropriate theory and research, use theoretical concepts to generate researchable questions focused around respiratory care, develop a scientific basis for examining practice, use the skills of critical reflection, and understand the political context of healthcare and how it influences practice.
