The market for unmanned and autonomous vehicles is increasing. Such vehicles have numerous existing and potential applications. For example, autonomous air vehicles can be used for search and surveillance, mapping, crop spraying and environment and weather monitoring. Autonomous ground vehicles have very diverse applications such as factory automation and mine clearance.
