The multidisciplinary field of Health Informatics is concerned with the acquisition, storage, retrieval, communication and optimal use of health information for problem solving and decision-making. Taking this course will enable you to enhance your professional skills with applications of emergent technologies in the health workplace. The course focuses on the principles governing the management of health information and knowledge and considers these principles in relation to the roles of patients and the different professions involved in delivering healthcare.
