The Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert) in Cognitive Behavioural Approaches will give you an introduction to the principles of the subject.
It has been developed for people who wish to develop their knowledge of cognitive behavioural approaches in one or more of the following settings - the helping and health professions, private practice, or management roles where working with people is the prime focus.
Please note - the course does not provide training in the full range of skills and knowledge required to practice cognitive behavoural therapy (CBT). This can be achieved by application to and successful completion of additional modules leading to the postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. You may also apply to continue your studies up to MSc.
