The course comprises 2 x 30 credit units related to understanding and addressing issues related to pupil behaviour in schools:
Unit 1, Understanding pupil behaviour in schools, will give you the opportunity to:
reflect on concepts, theories and approaches to student behaviour, behaviour management and inclusion in schools and on your potential for acting as a change agent in your own institution;
observe, analyze and reflect on the behaviour of one student, or group of students, identified as challenging, difficult or disaffected; and plan and intervene in relation to the behaviour of individual students, within the context of the school curriculum, in order to enhance student learning.
