The Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Education comprises two units: Unit 1 Exploring Primary Education and Unit 2 Changing practice in Primary Education, which should be studied in that order. Together they will enable teachers to develop their knowledge and reflective understanding of the factors that impact on life and learning in a primary school, to identify areas for development, and to gain confidence in planning, implementing and evaluating change in their own classrooms and in the wider school community.
