This is an exciting and flexible course for experienced nurses in advanced and autonomous roles who would like to enhance their practice through study at master's level. Students can expand their knowledge and competency according to the requirements of their professional practice by choosing from a wide range of clinically relevant modules. Students are also challenged to explore the evidence base for practice and to develop their contribution to care through analysis and evaluation of the concepts and theories which underpin advanced nursing practice. This course develops political awareness, practice competency and critical evaluation skills as the foundations of a scholarly approach to practice development - benefiting patients, the health care service and the students who undertake this course.
