The Secondary Computer Science course at Reading:

• is taught by staff with national and international reputations as being experts in the field of ICT, digital literacy and Computer Science (CS) in education;
• is informed by current initiatives and policies in the field of ICT and CS, including being involved and actively participating in CAS (Computing At School)/BCS (British Computer Society) initiatives;
• is taught through a series of practical seminars, workshops, microteaching activities as well as independent and group research;
• is taught in purpose-built ICT suite with an extensive range of resources;
• examines a range of pedagogical approaches to ICT and CS teaching;
