The postgraduate certificate in Mentoring aims to develop the knowledge, understanding, skills and professional values of participants engaged with mentoring in education and/or training settings.

The course endeavours to enhance participants' capacity to apply scholarship, theory and research to relevant professional practice.

The intention of the postgraduate certificate is to support the development of critical and reflective dialogue in mentoring situations. Participants are expected to engage in reflective activities that explore the key literature and research in this field. It is anticipated that participants will synthesise theory and practice in order to actively engage in their own continuing professional development.
