The programme has been designed to provide postgraduate education and training in the concepts and methods within the advanced composites and polymers area and their intelligent application to problems within modern industry. Research in areas such as the development of technical textiles and principally 3D woven preforms (for use in the aerospace and other transportation sectors) underpins the main postgraduate themes of the programme.
