The development of organisations through innovation is a primary driver in today's complex environment. The logic is simple if we don't change what we offer and how it is created and delivered we risk being overtaken by those who do. This innovation imperative is widely acknowledged by governments globally and high performance organizations in all sectors of the economy.
Although innovation is increasingly seen as a powerful way to gain or sustain advantage it is often viewed as highly challenging for both the organisation and individuals. The PgD / MSc Business Development and Innovation will address this challenge with a focus on business development through innovation. It will give business managers, and those who aspire to these roles, the tool and techniques to innovate, develop and succeed with an emphasis on; planning new strategies, exploiting opportunities, leading change and successfully managing business growth or organisational development.
