Housing is a multidisciplinary field of study which cuts across a range of academic perspectives, public policy agendas, and government departments/agencies. Located within the School of the Built Environment the Postgraduate and Masters programmes explore many topics that relate to the study of housing, including: analysis of the public policy framework; economics; law; management and leadership studies; housing management and policy; construction and procurement; planning, placemaking and urban design; regeneration and sustainability; sociology; politics and the environment. The course also enables students to fulfil the educational requirements of the professional qualification of the Chartered Institute of Housing, leading to full Corporate Membership.
