Secondary Business. Manchester Metropolitan University

This course combines all elements of business education providing the experience of teaching this subject. An emphasis is placed on the use of a virtual learning environment (VLE) to access lecture materials and extension work as well as an online community.  The Faculty of Education has a national reputation in secondary teacher training based on an effective school and college partnership structure and wide range of subject disciplines which has been rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted.  Placements are central to the course - trainees will spend 24 out of 36 weeks on teaching practice in at least two schools or colleges.
