The PGCE is a valuable post graduate qualification for any individual wishing to teach in the FE Learning and Skills sector. This will include FE and sixth form colleges and possibly adult training environments or those wishing to work in adult and community education. You will develop skills in planning, delivering and assessing learning activities, combined with the understanding of the learning process and background to post-compulsory education and training. You will undertake a short research project aimed at improving an aspect of your teaching.
