Advanced Computer Science. The University of Salford

This course offers you the opportunity to study advanced aspects of Computer Science within a research-based environment.  The school is home to research centres in "Data Mining and Pattern Recognition" and "Virtual Environments and Future Media".  The course provides dedicated modules that will showcase each of these research areas and provide you with an overview of the research themes within each area, along with detailed knowledge of a selected theme.  You will have the opportunity to work alongside highly-rated research staff, use the School's world-leading visualisation laboratories and to develop some advanced programming skills.
