This course has been developed in response to the Department of Health's commitment to improve access to psychological therapies (IAPT) in primary care for people with depression and anxiety disorders.
The School of Health & Social Care at Teesside has been commissioned to train graduates within mental health professions to deliver Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) at an advanced level. The course has achieved Level 2 accreditation with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). Future developments include a CBT for Psychosis module.
